How to irritate your anti gun relatives...

Post by Major Kong »

in this case my wife's 2 cousins (yes one was the female anti-gun nut and her boyfriend) and the other was her anti-gun nut cousin (but her pro-gun for now fiancée). My nephew, his wife and 8 year old daughter joined us.

You excuse yourself and retire to the backyard and shoot a few bricks of .22lr, 9mm, .38, .223 and .357mag ammo. A great time was had by all (14 of us) except for the 3 afore mentioned.

Yes the 8 year old can shoot very well.

I guess they have to. You don't leave "the family".

I use the Socratic method to have them explain how a gun ban would stop the current school shooting.

Average triggering time is 2 questions.

Nah we don't even try anymore...Our little shooting outings have become a family tradition...it's a great use of 132 acres. :D

Those that want to participate do, those who don't want to participate don't. We just don't go out to the back 40 with our corn likker and start a shootin'! Some of us drink beer. :p

Seriously my nephew is a trained firearms instructor and we go thru a step by step little program...safety is paramount. My grandniece is a natural with a rifle and even better with a bow and arrow.
