problem with the servicemen not getting benefits if we hadn't shut down the government on a "fool's errand" to shut down obamacare.

The prez is not handling it well, but it's the conservatives' fault.

He cites polls showing republicans are at an all time low. He should be on msnbc telling Republicans how to "win."

SARAH PALIN voice: He's a maverick!

Or perhaps he is a seasoned politician smart enough to know when to step off the BS Express. He is prolly tired of his party being run by inexperienced knuckleheads.

Here's the part that McCain, libs, and Washington insiders are missing. Part of the reason the GOP is at an all time low is because many of us out here are disgusted with the people like McCain that are in the party. A-holes like him that do more to attack their fellow party members than they do the folks on the other side of the aisle are what makes us disgusted. He's one of the main reasons the GOP has low poll numbers.

The TP is but a tiny faction within the GOP, so when a poll comes out that says the public is giving the GOP poor marks, why would anyone assume that its because of the TP? They are the only ones willing to fight and stand up for the things we elected them to do!

McCain is a typical politician, who thinks the solution to all of life's woes is to throw taxpayer money at the problem.

Because the majority of the country does not like their tactics. And, sadly, if your tactics are a problem... your true message gets lost.

Then maybe he should become a D. In fact, send all of your GOP old guard over... then the TP would see their true numbers for governing.

"Seasoned" politician. That's good! he's a professional politician that will do or say anything to stay in power. He has no loyalties. He has no guiding principles.

OK... don't blame the Libs. They didn't vote for him.
