Where's the DOJ with hate crime charges?


Seems to me this wasn't a murder from boredom, but from racism. Looks Trayvon Martin inspired too. What I don't get is why Edwards was hanging with the white kid or the white kid hanging with him. Seems like either would have had some obvious differences? Maybe the white kid was "black" enough? Don't get it. He his 15 so he's not going to make a lot of sense.

And what of the parents and people around him, apparently not saying anything while this kid is posting about murdering and hating whites? Would not even his friends give him a "that's whack" when talking of killing whites? Imane the races reversed and a white saying something like that around his friends, how would they respond? I think that's the place the black community needs to get to, where other blacks will call out this kid and ostracize him the way whites typically do for saying such racist things. The keeping it real crew should have spoken up they got this far down their racist path.
