my wife got this natural peanut butter the other day and it was awful. i opened it up not knowing and the oil went everywhere. and then i tried to mix it and it was a big mess. and it tasted like excrement.

THEN, when you open it for the first time, microwave it for 30 second, then use a big fork, or something similar, to stir it. Keep it in the fridge. It will remain perfect for the life of the jar.
