that's a stupid ruling. They're saying a kid 17 and 1 day from his birthday can't get life without parole, but that same kid on the next day can. I don't see the problem with guaranteeing the possibility of parole. It doesn't mean the kid is going to get parole, it just means his case and subsequent behavior/rehabilitation will be reviewed after 15-20 years and he may be able to get out of prison.
