SCOTUS made an interesting ruling in an 8A case

Basically, minors convicted of homicide cannot receive lifetime imprisonments without the possibility of parole.

that's a stupid ruling. They're saying a kid 17 and 1 day from his birthday can't get life without parole, but that same kid on the next day can. It's an arbitrary age and so should swing either way based on the circumstances of the case.

I don't see the problem with guaranteeing the possibility of parole. It doesn't mean the kid is going to get parole, it just means his case and subsequent behavior/rehabilitation will be reviewed after 15-20 years and he may be able to get out of prison. Or they may decide the rambunctious little shīt hasn't learned a goddamned thing and they'll keep him locked up some more.
I don't care if you're a Democrat or a Republican... if you refuse to consider alternatives to the two parties, you support the Status Quo and you are a major part of the problem.
