The wife walks by and enthusiastically says "OMG, that's George Murdoch!" who was a guest. She's the opposite of a redneck and I was taken back how my Valley Girl knew Tyrus, one of his wrestling names. Turns out she went to high school with him and they were good friends. They were in the same circle and he had a crush on her. I always thought she was a prep, but turns out she was in with the meat heads too. And here she is married to a redneck. My high school classmates include several published fiction writers, a Grammy winner, several doctors, rocket scientists, etc. And my preppy wife attended high school with a famous wrestler and crack heads. Life is deliciously ironic and entertaining.
