Why do people have such a hard-on for pit bulls anyway?
Why can't they love some other kind of dog?
My niece is a cop, and she mentioned that one of the signs someone is a drug dealer is that they have a pit bull.

Is this a euphemism for something or does it just mean he's not in favor of banning pit bulls.USN_Hokie wrote:Just effing great...I'm sure this makes tjl's pants tight:

The federal government has no business having anything to do with what dogs you may or may not own, so on this limited point, I agree with Obama.

This has nothing to do with federal legislation. This is the federal government trying to stick its nose into local government business. The implication (this was just a speech) is that the DoJ could look into these local ordinances....BigDave wrote:Is this a euphemism for something or does it just mean he's not in favor of banning pit bulls.USN_Hokie wrote:Just effing great...I'm sure this makes tjl's pants tight:

tjl is (was) the Michael Vick of UWS - he has lots of pit bulls and thinks they're no different than any other dog. I disagree, and we've had some heated arguments in the past over it. He still has a chip on his shoulder over it.
