that is what amazes me, people do not realize that you could tax the "rich" at 100% and it would not even fund one year of the free stuff for everyone plan

The best thing I can say about Sanders is he seems sincere and seems to believe in what he's saying. I think that's why it resonates with his supporters. That said, I have no idea how anyone could hear his proposals and think they would be feasible without massive tax increases and/or cuts to other areas. People are all for raising taxes and cutting spending as long as it's not their taxes going up and not the programs they utilize getting cut.

Military spending can and should be cut. We can improve defense from where it is now with focused efficiency. Military spending is a bloated joke. We can improve defense without $700 hammers and $500 toilet seats.
