If the school chose to permit (after the fact) their property to be destroyed, then that is their prerogative.

But glass fell on a bystander. That's assault - the school can't consent to someone being assaulted.

well if they prosecute the criminal then the school has to handle the riots that ensue and it is cheaper just to let people be criminals. As for the woman that was hit with the glass, sue the pants off Yale lady!!!
