Based on this debate, if I were picking between the two candidates, I think I'd be more likely to support Hillary! over trump.RiverguyVT wrote:I was watching Dexter reruns

I think trump has ADD. Debate was not that interesting.

Hillary is the exact type of pig I'd expect you to support. Atta boy.

Uh huh. That about sums up the debate. What a #$%@show. BTW, did you know you can type shitshow, and it doesn't get edited to something else other than shitshow?awesome guy wrote:Uh huhip_law-hokie wrote:I'm voting for Gary Johnson but rooting for Hillary!awesome guy wrote:ip_law-hokie wrote:Based on this debate, if I were picking between the two candidates, I think I'd be more likely to support Hillary! over trump.RiverguyVT wrote:I was watching Dexter reruns

Looks that way. Frankly, I'm shocked. Then again, knowing the average voters' capacity, I shouldn't be surprised.Attila T Hun wrote:Well the polls, and there are many of them, almost all show Trump won.....
I think for most people, it all comes down to how the candidates made them feel. And Clinton came off as very cold and arrogant - leaving many people with a negative feeling about her even if she was more prepared.USN_Hokie wrote:Looks that way. Frankly, I'm shocked. Camacho for President 2020!
Here's a nice summary:Attila T Hun wrote:Well the polls, and there are many of them, almost all show Trump won.....

Yeah, and he's citing one of the only polls showing Clinton won.absolutvt03 wrote:And on the opposite side:UpstateSCHokie wrote:Here's a nice summary:Attila T Hun wrote:Well the polls, and there are many of them, almost all show Trump won.....

Yeah that CNN poll is a little sketchy...USN_Hokie wrote:Yeah, and he's citing one of the only polls showing Clinton won.absolutvt03 wrote:And on the opposite side:UpstateSCHokie wrote:Here's a nice summary:Attila T Hun wrote:Well the polls, and there are many of them, almost all show Trump won.....

Just to clarify, when you say "polls" you mean opt-in online polls that you find potentially on any local newspaper or TV site? The same type of ones that people post on TSL and say "Hokies are behind, need you to vote"?USN_Hokie wrote:Yeah, and he's citing one of the only polls showing Clinton won.absolutvt03 wrote:And on the opposite side:UpstateSCHokie wrote:Here's a nice summary:Attila T Hun wrote:Well the polls, and there are many of them, almost all show Trump won.....

IMO, asking who "won" is the wrong question. The better one is "whose side was motivated to turn out?"UpstateSCHokie wrote:Yeah that CNN poll is a little sketchy...USN_Hokie wrote:Yeah, and he's citing one of the only polls showing Clinton won.absolutvt03 wrote:And on the opposite side:UpstateSCHokie wrote:Here's a nice summary:Attila T Hun wrote:Well the polls, and there are many of them, almost all show Trump won.....

It was from 521 registered voters
26 % of the respondents who participated identified themselves as Republicans
41% identified themselves as Democrats
33% identified themselves as Independents
More independents than Republicans? Ummmm......
I'm not saying internet polls are scientific, but they do seem to show some enthusiasm gap.
I'll take the CNN poll which at least has some sort of control over random opt-in online polls that anyone can click on. If the CNN poll is "a little sketchy" then opt-in internet polls must be completely useless.UpstateSCHokie wrote:Yeah that CNN poll is a little sketchy...USN_Hokie wrote:Yeah, and he's citing one of the only polls showing Clinton won.absolutvt03 wrote:And on the opposite side:UpstateSCHokie wrote:Here's a nice summary:Attila T Hun wrote:Well the polls, and there are many of them, almost all show Trump won.....
