Thank God for UN Watch, the organization which routinely roots out the institutionalized hypocrisies of the world’s largest bureaucracy while most of us just gripe about the UN when something comes along to remind us it’s still out there.

When female activists elected to office and self-proclaimed themselves as Sweden’s “First Feminist Government of the World” performed their ‘Walk of Shame’ before Iranian President Rouhani on Saturday wearing Hijabs, Chadors, and long coats, UN Watch was the first news media to call them out.

UN Watch, in reality a non-governmental, human rights Geneva-based NGO, is identified as “news media” in this column, because it does the job the news media won’t do:throw the spotlight on human rights atrocities they consider as too politically incorrect.

‘The First Feminist Government of the World’ threw in with the male hierarchy who legislate Iran’s oppressive and unjust modesty laws which make the Hijab compulsory, keeping for themselves the right to wear whatever they want when they’re not out conducting publicity stunts.
