The goal is to help women connect with one another, support each other and leave empowered to succeed in the academy.

Wow, that's sweet.

Because women of color can't do that normally or naturally. They need help, like workshops.

How many ways can we slice and dice america into victimized segments in the name of diversity and unity?

Remember when tech was just a country school with a proud military tradition and mainstream values? We now have a vice provost for inclusion and diversity. That means there is a provost. Probably means there are other vice provosts.
