There is no legal designation for a domestic terrorist designation. A foreign terrorist designation is defined by law. Under current law, there is no such thing as a domestic terror org. The DOJ can probably make up a definition but it won't mean anything and would have no teeth. It would be as meaningful as being an SLPC hate group.
