Hacking was always an improper term to be used. If anything they tried to have a negative impact on the election, the election process, and American democracy in general thru various channels including traditional media, internet and individuals. Nothing new, just maybe more overt this go round.

Don't get wound up in the "hacking" definition. That's the bad reporting on the part of the Daily Mail.

"Cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike has had to retract portions of a report supporting its allegations of Russian cyberattacks – and is also refusing to address Congress about its findings on Moscow's election hacking."

They're flat out lying. The leaks came from within the DNC. And in reality, the "russian interference" is a canard. In reality, we've interfered more with Russian elections than they have with ours.
