In reviewing filings from the Eric Trump Foundation and other charities, it's clear that the course wasn't free--that the Trump Organization received payments for its use, part of more than $1.2 million that has no documented recipients past the Trump Organization. Golf charity experts say the listed expenses defy any reasonable cost justification for a one-day golf tournament.
Additionally, the Donald J. Trump Foundation, which has come under previous scrutiny for self-dealing and advancing the interests of its namesake rather than those of charity, apparently used the Eric Trump Foundation to funnel $100,000 in donations into revenue for the Trump Organization.
And while donors to the Eric Trump Foundation were told their money was going to help sick kids, more than $500,000 was re-donated to other charities, many of which were connected to Trump family members or interests, including at least four groups that subsequently paid to hold golf tournaments at Trump courses.
Donald Trump is a stupid man's idea of a smart man, a poor man's idea of a rich man, and a weak man's idea of a strong man.
It's not unheard of at all for the organizer of a charitable event to be paid management fees as high as 10% or so of total revenues. Depending on the total revenues generated, the money Trump kept may be no big deal at all.
I don't care if you're a Democrat or a Republican... if you refuse to consider alternatives to the two parties, you support the Status Quo and you are a major part of the problem.
Gma did a big story on it this morning, its another gotcha fail tho.
The Eric Trump foundation has given out boatloads of money to charities, mainly St. Judes. Yes they have expenses to do this as all charities do but the expenses are in line with the amount of money they are donating. This is nothing more than attack anything Trump related. It would be great tho if the MSM digged as hard into the Clinton Foundation which gave out very very little in donations to any charities (Except Clinton Inc.)

I am involved in a non-profit golf tournament, funny thing is even tho we tell the courses it is for a non-profit and all of our surplus cash goes to the scholarship the tourney funds they ALL WANT TO BE PAID FOR THEIR SERVICES..... damn them. You have yet another nothing burger. Wonder why the MSM did not investigate the Clinton Foundation that actually donated very little of its funds to anyone as hard as they are looking at a legit family foundation.

FYI Business week is a legit business magazine, I read it weekly. Ever since Trump was elected they have been running at least two or three hit pieces on Trump towards the front of the magazine every week. Of course it is owned by Michael Bloomberg, not a trump fan. So yes Forbes is legit but is it totally void of bias, not a chance in hell
