There is actually a real simple way. Keep it in your pants. This is how they are "protecting themselves" from the potential ramifications of the choices they are making. If you're done having kids, go ahead and get the vasectomy. It's no big deal. And it's not healthy for the wife to stay on the pill for an extended period of time. Figure she's been on the pill since she first gave it up. If she gets married and has her kids in her 20s/early 30s, then get fixed and get her off the pill.
I don't care if you're a Democrat or a Republican... if you refuse to consider alternatives to the two parties, you support the Status Quo and you are a major part of the problem.
