I dunno - looks like the old "Slip and Fall" to me. Look for the lawsuit against the city that is surely forthcoming.

I feel no sympathy for stupid people. That was entirely self inflicted. If stupid hurt more then it would be reduced.USN_Hokie wrote:http://abc7news.com/2072892/
Looks like the only thing 1984 got wrong was the date.

If I were on that jury she'd be SOL. Anybody paying attention to their surroundings could tell those doors were open. Workers can put up warning signs or whatever (in this case there was a physical barrier about 2 1/2 to 3 feet high in her path) but they can't make the morons pay attention to them!Florida Hokie wrote:USN_Hokie wrote:http://abc7news.com/2072892/

I don't care if you're a Democrat or a Republican... if you refuse to consider alternatives to the two parties, you support the Status Quo and you are a major part of the problem.

She was 10 feet away from it when she whipped out her cell phone. No way in heck this isn't a scam. She probably didn't see that there was a big open hole and she thought it was just a barrier that she could trip over ... but instead she got seriously injured after she fell in a hole.
