would you debate the cop on what you are reaching for or stop when he tells you 3-4 times to not reach for it? Keep in mind the cop is not a mind reader and has no idea what the guy is reaching for
^^ This.

Quite simply, the proper thing to do when pulled over is sit behind the wheel with your hands on the wheel until instructed to move. Once you inform the cop you're armed, you don't flinch unless told to do so.

At that point the cop should instruct you to step out of the vehicle. He'll ask where the weapon is and then he'll secure it for everyone's safety. As long as everyone does what they're supposed to do, there will be no incident.
Flinching shouldn't lead to death. Many people are nervous around cops. Flinching is par for the course.
Okay, no need to be quite so literal. Point is, don't make any sudden movements and if the cop says stop, f**ing stop. Let HIM get whatever it is you're trying to get. Or at least let him get the gun first so he knows you're not trying to kill him.
I don't care if you're a Democrat or a Republican... if you refuse to consider alternatives to the two parties, you support the Status Quo and you are a major part of the problem.

or he had no respect for cops and thought he could do whatever he wanted to, never mind what drugs were in him. You do realize this dude was a well known guy to the local police and was not a newbie to dealing with cops, he had experience in that dept.. But keep charging cops for crimes for doing their jobs, and you can keep gnashing your teeth when they get acquitted. If the cop work in this country was so bad and racist and blah blah blah with the number of interactions with them alot more people would be dead from "flinching". But people that are not messed up on some substance and do not try and run, resist, ignore cops have no issue in their interactions with them, we hear about the folks that resist and attack and are in the process of committing criminal acts while interacting with the cops and get hurt or killed, and then the morons burn down the town for the cops doing their jobs.
