There's a show coming to HBO you all will like. "Confederate." It tells the story of what would have happened if the South hadn't got their ass kicked and they were allowed to maintain slavery as they desired.

You could dream about what it would be like if you still had slaves.

Should probably be in its own thread, but this show (albeit nobody has seen it yet) sounds pretty disgusting - basically telling blacks that the average white person would enslave them if government hadn't waged war on the South (slavery was going to fail on its own, it already had in the North). Think about how dangerous it is telling younger impressionable folks that - that the person across from you on the subway would own you if they had the chance. If this show takes off, it could be really damaging for race relations in this country.

Prediction: white "abolishonists" will have their own slogan/symbol on the show, and (real life) virtue signaling whites will trip over themselves to wrap themselves in the slogan/symbol...on their car, in the yard, etc.

What's disgusting is they try and pin slavery on the republicans, the party created to end slavery. They have idiots like our lawyer in NYC that carries their water by lying that everyone magically switched sides after the republicans won on slavery and then later on civil rights.

I'm not sure about the movie, but IP, FatTroll, and Unusual LIVs claim their was a massive game of musical chairs and all the racists magically became republicans. They're also the same people that think policies excluding race are really racist.
