So I read that Kapernick already turned down an offer from a team because he wants to keep his cause (ruse?) in the public eye.

Re: United We Stand for Colin Kapernick
My guess is that colon kapernick will find it more difficult to get a job with all the help from spike lee.
And on espn, stephen A. Hole opined that miami made a bad choice taking cutler and colon should have been hired. But all the owners are white except for a paki. Stephenahole is very smart. And spike lee also.
We should let them set the rosters for all the nfl teams.

I think the Ravens are looking at him. Perfect franchise for that America-hating a-hole to play for.

Shouldn't it be "United We Sit"? Or "United We Don't Stand"?

Re: United We Stand for Colin Kapernick
Well, technically speaking, NONE of the NFL players are employed. They're all independent contractors. They don't get a W-2 and there is no withholding against their earnings for FICA, FIT, or SIT. None of these guys are entitled to a contract and if the owners have blackballed a player because he carries too much baggage, I don't see any recourse against that. Kaepernick may as well pack his bags for the Great White North and kneel for O, Canada.
I don't care if you're a Democrat or a Republican... if you refuse to consider alternatives to the two parties, you support the Status Quo and you are a major part of the problem.

He understands it, but that has nothing to do with him seeing an opportunity to get on tv and get press again. When exactly was the last time you heard his name? Looks like the only thing 1984 got wrong was the date.

Re: United We Stand for Colin Kapernick
Someone should tell Spike Lee that Kapernick sucks at QB- inaccurate zone read guy like RG3..also unemployed IIRC...The league is more than 1 read and go now- defenses know how to defend the zone read now, thus Kaeprnicks inability to complete a forward pass in coverage. Harbaugh- and his loads of HGH/steroid masking techniques was able to squeeze a good year out of him aided by a top 2 defense in the NFL... Kaep is just not good..if he was he would be on a team.

The OC in SF really had the right scheme for Kap. When he left, so did Kap's game. He couldn't adapt to the new scheme and he went into a funk.CFB Apologist wrote:Someone should tell Spike Lee that Kapernick sucks at QB- inaccurate zone read guy like RG3..also unemployed IIRC...The league is more than 1 read and go now- defenses know how to defend the zone read now, thus Kaeprnicks inability to complete a forward pass in coverage. That "paki" became an American citizen in 1991, is a self made multi-billionaire, and doubled the value of the Jaguars inside of five years.oaktonhokie wrote:But all the owners are white except for a paki.

How long before he takes the team to London, because every home Jags game I see looks like the stadium is half-filled?Florida Hokie wrote:That "paki" became an American citizen in 1991, is a self made multi-billionaire, and doubled the value of the Jaguars inside of five years.oaktonhokie wrote:But all the owners are white except for a paki.

Re: United We Stand for Colin Kapernick
They play one game a year there now and are obligated to do so for a while. He's actually investing in a significant capital project in Jacksonville around the stadium so signs are pointing to him keeping them here. They need to actually win some games though. Fournette was a good add. Bortles still sucks though.ip_law-hokie wrote:How long before he takes the team to London, because every home Jags game I see looks like the stadium is half-filled?Florida Hokie wrote:That "paki" became an American citizen in 1991, is a self made multi-billionaire, and doubled the value of the Jaguars inside of five years.oaktonhokie wrote:But all the owners are white except for a paki.

Thanx minstrual.
But um, when did the paki become white? Was that 1991 also?
I was merely paraphrasing stephen a hole who said all the owners were white except one pakistani.
Thanx as usual for irrelevant and silly commentary.
Nice to know we can count on some things not changing.

My apologies for trying to clear up your understanding about a successful American businessman. You had apparently been mislead by the ESPN talking head. Just for the record, Pakistani isn't a race. It's possible there could be a white Pakistani.oaktonhokie wrote:Thanx minstrual.
