Interesting. Republicans are fairly constant, seeming to value country more than politics. The democrats clearly loved their country less because of the Iraq war, loved it more for electing Obama (though the newness seemed to wear off in his second term), and really don't like it now that Trump is president. It's all about politics for them.

People that hate themselves/their lives eventually blame other things for their misery..like "America" and "American Values"- not smoking weed in the open at mcdonalds, separate men and women's restrooms and showers, laws/civic order, a "family", religion, etc. Democrats hate these things because their lives are miserable. They take up for Kaepernick and support muslims/sharia because they hate themselves or are guilty they are white and not in jail. It's a disease.

As a point of information, it looks like there are no data points between 2008 and 2013. 78% of Democrats were proud in 2008 and 85% were proud in 2013, but there is no data in between, so we're not sure how many were proud right after Obama was elected.

It still shows that the democrats feelings are related to whether there is a republican or democrat president.

A couple points.

1. It is very different to be proud of america and being proud to be an american. There have been times when i was not at all pleased with the decisions, policies and leaders in america. But i have always been proud to be an american.

2. Libs/socialists are not proud of this country. This question merely allows them to focus on a "reason" to be ashamed. The "prided" felt by socialist during the obama regime was nothing more than agreeing with him that america's chickens were coming home to roost. That america was getting what it deserved. Happiness in America's decline was interpreted as pride.
