You're OK with people protesting "these" what
Do you mean the Antifa nimrod group protesting the right of the KKK nimrod group protesting that the City of C'ville removed statues
Here is a hint Antifa nimrods weren't there to protest statues they were there to stifle the KKK nimrods protest.

So you do hate free speech then. Good to know. As for the Confederate symbols, we know that history triggers your delicate snowflake sensibilities, so nothing new there either.

It's so weird that you used the term mongoloid. It sprang to mind when I was reading nolan's half-baked post-modern sleaze.

There's nothing to go on for simpleton, the land is in the public domain on the contingency of displaying the monument. The government should return the land to the owner instead of destroying the donation. If only you had a brain, then you would realize this.nolanvt wrote:I understand that. Well it is Carson-Newman...the saying around here is if you can't get into college then go to C-N. You should ask him to define the "alt-right" and then ask him what percent of the US population is made up by the "alt-right." And then ask if its okay to take away the rights from that percent of the population without due process.

Glad to hear that.
People of all stripes have the right to peaceably assemble and protest whatever they want. No matter how despicable or lunatic their position may be. Likewise, no one has a right to commit violence against those same people for exercising their lawful right to free speech.

Morgan and Breckinridge's statues are listed on the Federal Register of Historical Places. So there is the issue to cross every t and dot every i and the expense to remove the statues with the utmost care.
The Urban County Arts Review Board in 2015 recommended the statues be removed but the Kentucky Military Commission has final say and they've not been as hip to the idea.
