Marshawn Lynch sat during national anthem last night

Post by nolanvt »

My initial reaction is NBD. The Raiders viewed his talents to exceed his problems. It also helps that he's not a Quarterback or otherwise in a position of leadership, so fans will care less about his sitting. Kap was a marginal starting QB, so the hoopla surrounding him is different than Lynch will likely face.

Won't affect my life. I've already written off the NFL. Gave up my 20 year season tickets when dumbledick in S. F. started this crap and the NFL didn't stop it. Saves me about $8K a year which I use to spend a week in the BVI in January.

He's back! Well, for now. I don't know if he'll be Oakland's starter, but he's probably a supplementary back at this stage of his career.
