Can you point to some examples of where Obama called out BLM or Antifa? TIA!

Most are unwilling to call out their base. We agree that Trump's behavior is typical.UpstateSCHokie wrote:ip_law-hokie wrote:Seems about right.

Trump condemned all of the violence. Apparently that's not good enough for you. Would you have felt better if he said he "condemned the violence committed by all groups on Saturday including the white supremacists, BLM, and Antifa?"ip_law-hokie wrote:Most are unwilling to call out their base. Yet, nobody batted an eye as BLM folks murdered cops while Obama was inviting them to the white house.

So close, but you just won't come out and say the truth, you must couch it in a Trump dig. I bet when you do something to offend someone you "apologize" by saying "I'm sorry you were offended" rather than taking responsibility for what you said.ip_law-hokie wrote:Most are unwilling to call out their base. Re: Trump hesitant to call out his own base
Last time I checked, people are innocent until proven guilty in this country. Why should the President of the United States call out a suspect's name before the investigation has barely begun? From what we've seen and what we know, this guy looks guilty as hell, but how about letting a jury decide? And then if he's convicted, let's hope he gets the maximum sentence for the crime he's found guilty of.ip_law-hokie wrote:He should call out the Nazi who ran over people Uppity. Re: Trump hesitant to call out his own base
I hope that anyone that was breaking laws on Saturday (including the Nazis and especially the driver the car) gets charged and convicted. But I'm not willing to say that Nazis should not have the same rights as everyone else just because they are "Nazis." Nazis have equal protection too ya know - unless you're not into that kind of thing.ip_law-hokie wrote:

Only on UWS (well, other fringe sites, too) will you get an avid defense of white supremacists.ip_law-hokie wrote:I see that you too are unwilling to call out the Nazi. Donald Trump is a stupid man's idea of a smart man, a poor man's idea of a rich man, and a weak man's idea of a strong man.

Uppity is of course correct that all Nazis are entitled to due process under the law, but it is an interesting time to make the reminder.nolanvt wrote:Only on UWS (well, other fringe sites, too) will you get an avid defense of white supremacists.ip_law-hokie wrote:I see that you too are unwilling to call out the Nazi.
