I've had a great time today tweaking my left coast family...

Post by Major Kong »

The issue :?:

The Trump Winery in Charlottesville.

Them: How dare the POTUS pimp his family business in C'ville, what a low life making a profit and plugging the winery, he should be impeached for owning a winery :!:

Me: Don't forget the nice hotel on the grounds. You can do a wine tasting, eat cheese and crab cakes then sleep it off.

Them: The winery should be boycotted :!:

Me: Oh it was tried and backfired yugely. :D

Them: A POTUS or politician shouldn't profit. :?

Me: Why not :?: The Clinton's have made a very nice profit selling all sorts of things.

Them: The Clinton Foundation does good works.

Me: Yeah the people of Haiti are real appreciative.

Them: Huh :?: :?

Me: The only people who have profited from the Clinton Foundation are the Clinton's.

Them: Waht :?:

Me: How about that Uranium deal they made with the Russians :?: Boy that greased the Foundation skids real gooderly. :P

Them: Waht :?:  Then this was really good: Well we don't need any uranium in the US anyway better to let the Russians have it and get it out of the country. I don't know why we let that stuff into the country in the first place :!: :o :?

Me: Ummmmmmmmm...Well alrighty then that sounds like a real good plan :!:

Them: Well smart ass what would you do with it :?:

Me: Just leave it in the ground where it already is, it ain't hurting anything.

Them: Who put it there and why isn't it being cleaned up :?:

Me: Well I rekkin' it's there because of geology, Oh I guess we can remove it if we wanted to.

Them: Well why don't we get rid of it :?:

Me: Well it's expensive, the permits to get it are time consuming, there has to be a market for it and in the case of Virginia there is a moratorium on removing it.

Them: Why :?:

Me: Mainly environmental issues.

Them: Well who put it there :?: Make them pay for removing it.

Me: You mean like cradle to grave :?: I'm pretty sure that isn't possible.

Them: Why :?: What Trump friend are they protecting :?:

Me: Friend :?: It'd have to be a very old friend. Around 250 million years old in some cases.

Them: ????

Me: It's a mineral, located throughout the US, it has to be mined and refined but I'm glad you support mining it.

Them: Asshole :!:

?? Trump has a course under the Whitestone bridge that I've been wanting to play. Only problem is that it's overpriced and built on an old dump or shirt plant. I'm told the methane can be bad on occasion.

No point in your playing it then.
Folks behind you would not enjoy the experience of a six hour round.
