I've thought this from the beginning. They never thought he would win, so they weren't afraid to cheat. Now they need to create a shirt show so they can toss up their arms and say "let's just call it even" when the dust settles.

I am a little surprised, swabbie.

I assumed that they didn't contest michigan, wisconsin and pennyslvania because they are the ones who cheated and they didn't want that to be revealed.

But it would be the height of arrogance and i guess perfectly in keeping with socialism, to believe that buried under the excrement of two tons of socialist corruption from the campaign, there may be....MAY BE a nugget of republican wrongdoing. Or something that can be spun into wrong doing. And the assumption that everyone will ignore the two tons of excrement because the media tells them to keep looking for the R mischief, is either absurdly stupid or absurdly arrogant.

Why isn't obama putting the brakes on this? Or holder or the cheats at the irs or the deep state? My guess is that they figure the deep state can destroy, cover up or bury the corruption from obama, fat hillary, holder et al.

Pretty risky. The american people are stupid, but maybe not stupid enough...

I read an interesting argument earlier - that Mueller's team's purpose isn't just to try and make some pretext for impeachment of Trump, but also (and possibly primarily) to either cover up / manipulate evidence of the Obama administration's wrongdoing, or (more likely) to craft an argument for defense. After all, they're looking at the same information which would be used to prosecute the Obama administration.

So we'll need a special prosecutor to investigate the special counsel? Or maybe just an AG with a spine, some backbone.

Sessions, in his haste to please his senate brethren (after all, it's the worlds saucer!) abdicated from his responsibility to the country as AG. He recused himself from being a part of any and all things related to Trump, Russia, the election, whatever, even though there was no evidence of any crime. He acted as a senator, not as an AG. He wasn't the right man for the job because he still saw himself as a senator first.
