I'd say the judge lost his head granting bail in this case, but actually he lost someone else's head instead. I hope the police close this case quickly without further arrests.

The moral of the story is: join the Catholic church if you're a Pedo so you get sent to an Italian villa when caught instead of ending up headless on a judge's porch.

You make this post after criticizing AG for jumping to conclusions?133743Hokie wrote:My guess is he owed the drug cartel.

The cartel doesn't adhere to our system of justice -- innocent until proven guilty. They just cut and run.ip_law-hokie wrote:You make this post after criticizing AG for jumping to conclusions?133743Hokie wrote:My guess is he owed the drug cartel.

What about the part where you assumed the guy was involved in a cartel in the first place?133743Hokie wrote:The cartel doesn't adhere to our system of justice -- innocent until proven guilty. I wasn't assuming innocence or guilt as AG was. Just presuming on possible affiliation. But you knew that and were just trying to be contrary.

OK to assume guy is member of murderous cartel; not OK to assume the guy was guilty of the crime for which he was arrested and arraigned. Got it.133743Hokie wrote:Ah, you're being snarky -- I get it. But it's a moot point. Cap'n post was probably bullshit.
