Trump: 'Tell That Son of a B***h He's Fired'

Oh yeah, Trump is weighing in on NFL fiasco. This is going to be glorious as liberals invariably weigh in on the side of the America-haters and further alienate normal Americans. I'm only surprised it's taken this long for Trump to jump into the fray.

Goddell is showing the same lack of respect. Also, seems hypocritical given how he has dealt with the cowboy running back issue

Not just Godell. Other team owners (49ers, Packers CEO, and Giants among the ones I've seen) are releasing statements condemning Trump now.

I hope they all keep it up. They're killing their brand. This BS might fly on the coasts, but it doesn't play well in the flyover states. Maybe they're not happy with the current double digit loss of viewership, and they want tp push it even lower. I hope the entire NFL kneels this week. Watch the TV's turn-off. Goodell screwed the pooch on this one.

I find it amazing the NFL will fine a player for a uniform violation and lets crap like this go.

You can think that kneeling for the anthem is a bad thing, and condemn the folks doing so, without agreeing with the POTUS saying the ppl should be fired for it.

Instead of attacking the players, he should explain why America is the greatest place in the world.

I'm sure everyone here was pissed off at players who didn't go to the WH to see Obama. And I'm sure no one on here has said they would not meet Obama if he invited them.....

Not sure what anything you wrote has to do with the reality of the situation.

Owners shouldn't have ceremonies honoring the flag if they're going to allow their players to disparage it and what it stands for.

The owners are **** cowards. They thought they could juice their ratings with a little controversy and now it's going to sink them. Good riddance.

They have rules and fine players for all sorts of little shirt(Truth is, it's not really a problem among the successful teams...imagine that) . They could stop this today if they wanted to - that's what Trump is talking about, so don't try and turn this into a "Drumpf wants people fired for their political beliefs" discussion. If that wasn't your intention, I apologize in advance.

Dem calls for all NFL players to kneel during national anthem
By John Bowden - 09/23/17 11:47 AM EDT

Former Democratic Rep. Donna Edwards (D-Md.) tweeted that she hopes all NFL players kneel during the national anthem on Sunday in response to President Trump's remarks attacking Colin Kaepernick.

Edwards, who left Congress earlier this year, called Trump a "white supremacist who squats in our White House" in her tweet.
Trump suggested at a rally Friday night for Alabama Senate candidate Luther Strange (R) that NFL players like Kaepernick who kneel during the national anthem should be fired and fans should walk out.

"Wouldn't you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, 'Get that son of a b---- off the field right now,'" Trump said, adding, "'He is fired.'"

"When people like yourselves turn on television and you see those people taking the knee when they are playing our great national anthem – the only thing you could do better is if you see it, even if it's one player, leave the stadium," Trump added Friday. "I guarantee things will stop."

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell responded to Trump's remarks on Saturday, calling them "divisive" and saying they show a "lack of respect" for the league and its players.

“Divisive comments like these demonstrate an unfortunate lack of respect for the NFL, our great game and all of our players, and a failure to understand the overwhelming force for good our clubs and players represent in our communities," Goodell said.

And there we have it, the American flag now stands for white supremacy. Nobody debates that these barely literate millionaires have the right to kneel if they want to, but anyone who's not condemning them is a POS for all I care.

Goodell National SJW League logic:

Pig cop socks: Not Offensive
Disrespecting the Flag: Not Offensive

Asking people to respect the flag and expecting their employees to do the same: Offensive

By disrespecting the flag, do you mean people who take a knee for the anthem or people who actually violate the code as it pertains to the flag?
