I have seen that one mayor begging for help on TV, saying Fema was not able to do its job. IN REALITY the fed workers got the ports open and supplies are coming in and FEMA is on the ground and working. The issue is logistics, first getting help to the island is by ship and second the guys there that would drive the stuff out to the various areas are trying to fix their own places and not coming to work. Yes, a bad hurricane on an island is hell afterwards, just ask all the other islands mowed over before PR was

Just look at the sad financial state of Puerto Rico before the hurricane, they made states like Illinois and New Jersey look good by comparison. So its obvious they can't govern for sh*t, just like most island countries.

Just look at the sad financial state of Puerto Rico before the hurricane, they made states like Illinois and New Jersey look good by comparison. So its obvious they can't govern for sh*t, just like most island countries.

Yep. I bet she thinks she's being asked to make a list of needs because she's a female Latino and won't as she thinks it's demeaning when it's necessary to obtain inventory. FEMA is going to have to take over to get anything done as it's New Orleans part 2 otherwise.
