False premise. Single payer can absolutely be fiscally responsible.

Single payer means the rich will still get great healthcare, and everyone else (including ip) will get rationed scraps. Competition is the key- not MORE government involvement. Get rid of insurance fiefdoms and crony arrangements. Make sensible tort reforms. Streamline our insurance reimbursement system and you will see lower insurance rates.

That's how it should be. Otherwise, you're advocating for universal healthcare, as a right.
