Was Franken's election to the Senate a proof of vote fraud?

The facts in the case have been kept very quiet. The story about ballots found in a trunk isn't actually true but the fact that 1,099 felons illegally voted in the election is true:

Yep, it was a mess. But, for the felons who were registered to vote (the number is for people who were registered, not for those who actually voted), the Minnesota Majority list had a lot of errors. The list of supposed felon voters included a bunch that were not felons b/c they mistook legal voters with the same name as the felon. They also included felons who had their voting rights restored once they finished their sentence. And it included felons who were registered to vote (illegally), but didn't actually vote. When they finished going through all of them, there were less than 100 charged.

There was a lot more to it than that. The 1,100 fraudulent votes identifies resulted in 270 people being convicted of voter fraud, a charge with an extremely high bar. No others were charged because of the difficulty of proof beyond circumstantial. In addition the Franken camp refused to allow 600 or more absentee ballots from republican districts while pushing for, and getting, approval to allow 900 absentee ballots from the two most populous democratic districts. He's a fraud.

...and Franken cast the last needed vote for Obamacare if I recall correctly. Voter fraud can have huge impacts...
