Central planning proves to be wildly successful

Post by WestEndHokie39 »

Actually, no...

I heard on the radio today that China has diverted natural gas supplies to consumers from manufacturers so that their citizens won't freeze to death. As a result, factories have closed. The reason? China oulawed coal fired power plants to improve air quality.

Central planning, whether we examine the Soviet Union, Venezuala, Cuba or China, results in shorages and misery upon its victims. Yet progressives want to give control of the entire medical system in the US to the government through single payer.

Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it...

Yep.. Nobody would think it would be a good idea to let the IRS handle their money like a bank would, but those same people want single payer health care.

Not really, other than a few elitists who believe that they are so superior to the necks that they should tell them how to spend their money, the majority of people who support single payer healthcare would not care if the IRS handled their money because they cash their checks every week and spend it before the week is over.
Looks like the only thing 1984 got wrong was the date.
