Did Alabama burn a redshirt to win the NC? If so, that’s pretty damn cool.RiverguyVT wrote:Crappy outcome, sure. But it was a hell of a game.ip_law-hokie wrote:Boring.Major Kong wrote:What game

No, I think the QB had played a small amount this year already, probably in mop up timeip_law-hokie wrote:Did Alabama burn a redshirt to win the NC? If so, that’s pretty damn cool.RiverguyVT wrote:Crappy outcome, sure. But it was a hell of a game.ip_law-hokie wrote:Boring.Major Kong wrote:What game

I don’t know if the kid had played at all yet or not. I know he was the backup. And he came in sharp and cool. I can (obviously) see why he was recruited. It took stones to do what Saban did.ip_law-hokie wrote:Did Alabama burn a redshirt to win the NC? If so, that’s pretty damn cool.RiverguyVT wrote:Crappy outcome, sure. Yes it did. I felt for the first string QB. He handled it with class.RiverguyVT wrote:I don’t know if the kid had played at all yet or not. I know he was the backup. And he came in sharp and cool. That was surreal. I think we met the next Tebow, only with an arm.RiverguyVT wrote:I don’t know if the kid had played at all yet or not. I know he was the backup. And he came in sharp and cool. I was watching Black Mirror on Netflix.
Meh I had no interest in watching pro football on Monday night.awesome guy wrote:You missed a great one.

They'll never get it. The boosters all do it behind the scenes. Plausible deniability for the coaching staff. As my Gamecock fiancee says, "In the $EC, if you ain't cheatin, you ain't tryin."awesome guy wrote:Haha, true dat. Funny. I've seen left-leaning sights call the reaction mixed, and others as mixed.RiverguyVT wrote:Protests planned, notwithstanding... the crowds are roaring their approval
It is interesting. I didn't see, I've only seen the commentary here that we was cheered and applauded and commentary elsewhere that "he was even booed in the south."ip_law-hokie wrote:Funny.
