Does anyone other than the government even get a chance to ask the FISA judges for something? If a normal judge issues a warrant based on fraud, the defense lawyer can appear be for the judge and, get sanctions against the prosecutor, and get the charges thrown out. But with FISA ... does the defense lawyer even see the FISA judge?Techmomof2 wrote:Where (Who) are the FISA Judges? Are they not concerned that they made decisions based on false information? They can get the warrant revoked and then everything that happens after that is tossed. Manifold and Flynn may have received a gift.BigDave wrote:Does anyone other than the government even get a chance to ask the FISA judges for something? FISC warrants are issued in secret. They are warrants for surveillance, not criminal charges. If charges arise from the surveillance then the trail will likely be in traditional courts, unless national security issues then will be closed.BigDave wrote:Does anyone other than the government even get a chance to ask the FISA judges for something?
