Utah Elementary School changing policy

Post by nolanvt »

that will allow girls to say no to boys if asked to dance. No word yet on whether or not teachers were allowed to paddle girls who said no under the old policy.

This alt left school should prepare the male kids for the real world- what a concept- where 9 times out of 10 when they hit on a girl at a bar, they are going to get blown off or rejected. That's called life. God forbid we try to teach rejection though- that might be mean. That might have college graduates prepared for not getting every job they interview for- we wouldn't want that, now would we?

Sounds like the sort of misguided feel-good policy you would have supported, borne of a notion to enforce everyone being the same wrt outcomes. Of course, it went awry and needed overturning.

Clearly, this policy came about so no one would feel bad for being turned down.

You know I’m right. That policy was Nolan-esque.

Yep. All you need to do is state it nonsense like "I'm for appropriate dance etiquette" as Nolan is only for good and everything else is bad. His opinion is stated as a fact.

Why wouldn't they be allowed to say no? And WTF does this have to do with refusing to stand for the pledge?
