Are there just not very many federal judges?

Post by BigDave »

Or are there a whole lot of Trump-related lawsuits and so you're bound to get some duplicates?

There was a ridiculous lawsuit seeking to stop border wall construction that has been thrown out. The judge hearing the case is Gonzalo Curiel - the same one who heard the Trump University case.

More likely this was yet another case of judge shopping. The plaintiff's probably filed the case in this judge's jurisdiction because they figured the judge would rule against Trump. I guess even this judge could not figure out some contorted logic to let this case go forward.

I don't know why? It is a much more powerful position than President of the United States. You would think it would be sought after. Federal Judges decide on DACA and Travel policy for the US. Pretty cool job/power.

Or maybe the judge just followed the law like he's always done, despite Trump's temper tantrums against him.

Donald Trump is a stupid man's idea of a smart man, a poor man's idea of a rich man, and a weak man's idea of a strong man.

You want to provide an example of where this judge has ruled incorrectly?
