either be glorious if we beat Alabama. Or awful. No in between.

The trials and tribulations of living in Tuscaloosa.

Come out from your cave and look around every now and then.

We're playing Alabama in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

Don't fool yourself - your cave is just decorated differently.

I don't care about basketball (men's in particular) - it's a boring sport in my opinion. Women's basketball (not professional) is slightly more interesting

There are two seasons in American sports: football season and waiting for football season.

Much better matchup for VT than Wisconsin. I like our chances. If we can hit our shots, we will win comfortably. If we get ACC refs and they call 5 fouls on Blackshear the first 8 minutes knowing he is our only big, well that becomes an issue.

The key is guarding Sexton. Bama is talented but it's mostly freshman talent. They get frustrated and are very up and down. When they're down, they're awful. If Bibbs can effectively shut Sexton down, then I think we can win easily unless we go cold like we did against Notre Dame. Bama's defensive effort can be extremely lackluster.

Bama's SEC tourney run was powered by Sexton.

I hope we beat bama, but the next game is highly likely to be a loss
