I don't think it had anything to do with who started it. My guess is someone cracked and lost their shyt in a fashion so spectacularly offensive that leaving it on the board would be akin to leaving a steaming pile of excrement in the middle of the living room for the rest of us to step around. I have no idea what was said, but Dave doesn't pull threads that I remember unless it's bad (maybe he has pulled 1?2?). JMO.
