Alabama fan apologizes.

Post by CWHOKIECPA »

But would do it all over again. Of course she would, no one taught her a lesson the first time. She is also delusional. No one went after her son. She says she wasn't drunk. She now claims that they were throwing bottles.

“The security people had already gotten on to those guys for throwing bottles at people,” Pritchett said. “When they escorted me out, the security guard told them there was no reason to be pressing charges on me because those guys were out of control the whole game. I defended my son. If they had kicked those boys out to begin with, it wouldn’t have happened the way it did.”

Funny how the story changes. That doesn't even make sense. Yeah, had they kicked those boys out she wouldn't have had to give them the finger and treat them like a bunch of bowling pins.

She strikes me as the type of chick who you wanted to date in HS or college but not end up when the music stopped as an adult. You don't want a crazy one like that mothering your children.

Lessons:

#1 - there will ALWAYS be douchebags at football games

#2 - don't let douches get the best of you

#3 - don't drink when you are with your kids

Kids should see adults drink....responsibly. Of course, it's a fine line. We have an annual kegger (bunch of day drinking) with much of the neighborhood families. I think the kids are mostly 11 and under so I'm not sure they understand the reason why Mr. BG is acting even goofier than usual. Might be different in a few years when the kids get older.

Yes, good caveat - I really meant to excess. I'll have a drink at home and occasionally at a restaurant in front of mine but generally at a sporting event or somewhere with a big crowd I just skip it all together.

So, we're going to try this thread again?
Look. What she did was wrong. And obviously (OBVIOUSLY!) she was drunk.

It is clear, however, by what the guys themselves had said (in the second link to the old (deleted) thread) that they had been provoking the woman & her family.

Therefore, I still say punching her face in and gouging her eyes out...after having spent energy to provoke her in the first place, would have been a wrong thing to do. Even if "to teach her a lesson".

The guys themselves admitted they were asking her son down to their seats, presumably to fight/escalate. You're saying they didn't do that, when they themselves said they did. You weren't there. You don't know what went down, beyond what's in the quoted news reports and video. Momma bear says she'd protect cub. Shocking, I know.
So I put (the dead dog) on her doorstep!

Let me shortcut all of this.

Guys are college age douchebags responsible for no one but themselves. Mom is an adult (allegedly) who is responsible for her children. Mom should know better. A sober Mom would likely know better.

Yes, gouging her eyes out would be wrong. Let...it...go.

LOL... I'm the one that needs to "let it go"?
Not you guys who still want to teach the birch a lesson?
(and who were so worked up about it, to have brought language to the board which required deletion by BigDave?)
Uhm. Yeah. Okaaayy.

That's what you got out of my post? That I wanted to "teach her a lesson"?

With their Cap’n and Chief Intelligence Officer having deserted them, River, Ham and Joe valiantly continue their whataboutismistic last stand of the DJT apology tour.

Meh. Let's keep the UWS love flowin' IP, and keep this from getting personal, eh? This is about the post, not the poster. Ideas.
I just disagree that the woman needed to be taught a lesson.

I know, I know.. I apparently stand alone on that.
