One line of thought on Christie
- This whole bridge incident shows what a petty dbag he is
- That he was pissed for being snubbed for Romney's VP Pick and for revenge he
1) cozied up to Obama for photo ops during his campaign
2) delivered the Republican convention key note address that failed to mention Romney

He raped the horses and rode off on the women of many small villages....
I don't care if you're a Democrat or a Republican... if you refuse to consider alternatives to the two parties, you support the Status Quo and you are a major part of the problem.

Agree. Everyone in NJ is a d-bag - it's the only thing all people from NJ know how to do.HokieDan95 wrote:- This whole bridge incident shows what a petty dbag he is

Re: One line of thought on Christie
I'll say this (and I certainly don't have any love lost for Christie), but if this scandal is enough to sink his Presidential aspirations, then Clinton's have to be sunk even deeper because this pales in comparison to Benghazi.
The whole bridge incident = people being inconvenienced while driving.
Benghazi = 4 Americans dead at the hands of terrorists.
But let's see which one the media thinks is more serious.

I want the Republican Party to win back the White House in '16, but I also want the right person for the job. Besides the scandals and ensuing dirt on him that will be more scrutinized, he's very volatile.HokieDan95 wrote:- This whole bridge incident shows what a petty dbag he is

Re: One line of thought on Christie
The whole point is that...
a Dem talking point has been that Pubs are so polarized they can't tolerate any cooperation with D's within their ranks as when Christie photo opped with Obama during the 2012 campaign while the truth may actually be that Christie is just a vindictive a-hole.

Re: One line of thought on Christie
what difference, at this point, does it make?
Good post regarding the coverage of this.
Also, only Democrats are allowed not to know what is going on in their own administration. Obama, Clinton, and the rest are totally divorced and detached from any of the (bad) decisions made in their administrations.
Republicans of course, are responsiblefor everything that happens in their administration..
As they should be.

False comparison... unless you think Obama officials sent emails to terrorists arranging the attack.UpstateSCHokie wrote:I'll say this (and I certainly don't have any love lost for Christie), but if this scandal is enough to sink his Presidential aspirations, then Clinton's have to be sunk even deeper because this pales in comparison to Benghazi.

What YOU think happened in Benghazi is not equal to what most people think happened. And "the truth" probaly lies with most people...
