I ran into a homeless friend tonight

The one that got hit by a car and so got enough of a settlement to no longer be homeless. He's doing financially well, which was a pleasant surprise. Has a pimped out truck and wheelchair. But he's struggling physically and got a hip replacement with the second on the way. It's wierd to see someone struggle physically and still think they're better off than before. That's how nasty homelessness really is, it robs you of the present and the future because you're not advancing and so losing out on growth. It's like being a millennial, only living in the woods instead of your parent's basement. I'm taking him fishing soon.
