What they did do in a few cases is follow up on people who made actual threats against teachers and school boards.
They did, and they backed down pretty quickly only when it became apparent the political blowback was unbearable. I doubt YahooNews did much (if anything at all) with that info.

Taking your cues from the perennially stupid Jim Jordan is bound to make you look silly.
The 1st one on his list is someone actually threatening the school board. The 2nd was a nutjob complainant, who the FBI interviewed, and concluded they had no credible info. They didn't investigate any further. And the 3rd one, we have no real info on what happened, other than that the FBI opened an investigation based on the complaint.
That's the worst they have?? You'd think that if you were going to write a letter to the AG, you'd at least have one instance backing up your claim that the FBI was investigating people simply for voicing an opinion.
