You see, DC, this is ALSO my position on DrumpF!. But at the time I posted this, I had a feeling it wouldn’t be the case. I thought DeSantis would be a stronger candidate. He still needs some seasoning. Haley isn’t going to make it either…no matter what anyone thinks about her.

We still have 10 months to Election Day. Anything can happen. If it’s between DrumpF! And the current Potato, I’m hoping Tangerine Hitler takes the prize. And in the meantime, I hope the Pub Party is exposed for the members of the Uniparty they are part of…….and hint…….this is why people vote for Bad Orange Man. They didn’t learn the first time……have had 4 years to learn and are still clueless.

https://nevernikki.net/#why-never-nikki

WHY NEVER NIKKI

Based on her record and campaign, I don’t see how any thoughtful or informed libertarian or conservative should vote for Nikki Haley. If you agree, let your voice be heard.
Nikki Haley supports Biden and McConnell and the forever-war crowd on funding for the war in Ukraine.
Her thirst for war is so strong she actually said: "I'm sick of talking about a Department of Defense. I want a Department of Offense." #NeverNikki
She even personally received millions of dollars from the arms merchants who benefit from the war, a conflict of interest that undergirds her eagerness for foreign military intervention.
This position isn’t new either - as governor of South Carolina she gave tax dollars to those same arms merchants, and they showered her with campaign contributions and a seat on their board when she left office.
While most others were decrying the mistakes of the past 20 years, and fighting for an America First foreign policy, Nikki Haley was aligning herself with and declaring her foreign policy allies to be John McCain and Lindsey Graham.
Nikki Haley believes in nearly unlimited foreign aid — we have sent over $100 BILLION we don’t have to Ukraine already and she wants more. But this also isn’t new.
In her book With All Due Respect, she wrote “Humanitarian Assistance will always be a priority for the United States, we will always be generous.”
But Nikki Haley’s “generosity” with your tax dollars and her support for all foreign aid in the context of a $34 TRILLION dollar debt is in no way libertarian or conservative.
Beyond the issues of endless wars, Nikki Haley’s lack of respect for freedom of speech is shocking to anyone who believes in the constitution.
Nikki Haley believes that all internet posters should be registered and verified. This flies in the face of a free American Republic whose founders wrote anonymously the Federalist Papers and routinely posted newspaper articles and pamphlets under Pseudonyms.
Anyone who doesn’t fully believe in free speech or who wants endless wars has no business anywhere near the White House.
But wait, there’s more.
Nikki Haley routinely praised the mission of the United Nations, the results they achieved, and the people who ran it.
First up, her quote “I believe the U.N. does valuable work.” By that she means your tax dollars since the US is the primary funder of UN.
She repeatedly praised the U.N. Secretary General (former president of Socialist International) and declared that they “think alike."
Did I mention that I am **Never **Nikki?
Nikki Haley disagreed with President Trump’s decision to pull U.S. troops out of Syria and Afghanistan and defended continued U.S. presence in both places.
If you want to move quickly to domestic policy, in South Carolina, Nikki Haley advocated for a gas tax hike, a state-run vaccine registry and never lifted a finger for school choice.
I am Never Nikki and I hope you will be too.
So I put (the dead dog) on her doorstep!

Your position on Trump is simply wishful thinking based on nothing. Trump doesn't care about the Pub Party, or the Uniparty, or dismantling any of it. Anything he says about them is simply to get votes. It doesn't, and won't ever, result in any changes.

So many people supporting Trump, hate Haley, but IMO, they are simply clueless NPCs.

Haley has one major area that I think she falls way short, and that's her view on armed conflicts. She's way too much of a hawk. When you ask people what they dislike about her, that's what you hear over and over again. And very little about anything else. Why? Because on almost every other stance, she's a tried and true conservative. Spending, abortion, immigration, entitlement reform, taxes, fuel independence, crime, term limits, foreign policy, just to name a few.

What does Trump care about? Himself. He did nothing of consequence on the items I listed above during his time as POTUS.
He talked about a few of them, but never actually did anything. The closest he got was the 2018 bill that he first said was a no-go, and then supported at the last minute. Wishy washy nonsense. Poor results.
There's a reason Trump isn't doing debates (which should be appalling to anyone voting). Because he has nothing to say, no ideas.

That's what you're supporting. A single idea that has no chance of materializing, and a whole bunch of nonsense otherwise.

Nope, I don't support the idea of registering people with social media accounts. They do need to do a better job off cutting off bots.

As for abdication of US voice to UN, that's nonsense IMO. She has been highly critical of the UN, both the lack of funding from members, and the horrid Human Rights Council.
She does believe there is good that can be done in the UN, like she did when she got international sanctions against North Korea.
The UN has lots of warts, but there is still a lot of good there. I haven't heard anything that indicates she'll let the UN speak for the US.

I gave you 9 major areas where her stance is most definitely conservative.

You're going to vote for a guy who doesn't have any stances, and had 4 years to advance conservative policy, but did nothing. He barely even tried. Bloated spending bills from the white house. Liberal trade policy. Flimsy EOs with no teeth just so he could act like he was trying, but nothing of substance or permanence.

If your above criticisms of Haley are all it takes to dismiss her, it seems odd that you could support Trump, who has a long list of flaws and no tried and true beliefs at all.

And in the meantime, I hope the Pub Party is exposed for the members of the Uniparty they are part of…….and hint…….this is why people vote for Bad Orange Man. They didn’t learn the first time……have had 4 years to learn and are still clueless.

Haley isn’t winning. She’s toast.

All your other stuff is noise……
Yep, Nikki is most likely toast.
All the other stuff is why the GOP and Trump voters are easily manipulated fools who can't think for themselves.

Notice no one could refute what I wrote, or counter with Trump's conservative chops.

I’ve NEVER said he did or does. You have no idea if it will result in changes. There is a lot of shuffling going on in the Pub party with the establishment RINO types trying to stomp out any grassroots uprisings. It’s happening here in CO.

Blaming it on RINOs is silly. Every POTUS has Congressmen that don't support his agenda. Trump's agenda, absent Congressional approval or not, had a lot of liberal leanings.

Spending policy (increase spending over and over, outspending Obama by a wide margin). Trade Policy (tariff wars - liberal tactic). Monetary Policy (artificially holding down inflation - liberal, not conservative). Foreign Policy (not necessarily, just stupid).

Here are the Senators who voted with Trump 90% or more of the time.

Tuberville, Sessions, Marshall, Cochran, Hatch, McSally, Perdue, Cramer, Roberts, Cornyn, Hoeven, Capito, Cruz, Isaksen, Hyde-Smith, Heller, Boozman, Thune, McConnell, Strange, Braun, Wicker, Shelby, Blunt, Tillis, Scott, Crappo, Rounds.

Voted with Trump 80-90% of the time.

James M. Inhofe, Richard Burr, Deb Fischer, John Barrasso, Bill Cassidy, Lamar Alexander,Michael B. Enzi,Dan Sullivan, Marsha Blackburn, Cory Gardner, Joni Ernst, Chuck Grassley, Rob Portman, James E. Risch, Marco Rubio, John Kennedy, Tom Cotton, James Lankford, Josh Hawley, Ron Johnson, Lindsey Graham, Patrick J. Toomey, Ben Sasse, Rick Scott, Bob Corker, Steve Daines, John McCain, Todd Young, Jeff Flake, Jerry Moran, Kelly Loeffler

Voted with Trump less than 80% of the time.

Romney, Lee, Murkowski, Kyl, Paul, Collins, Lummis.

That's 7 people who could not be counted on to vote with Trump's agenda. 93 of the 100 supported it 80% or more of the time. That's pretty supportive.

For the House, I can't list all the names, but during Trump's presidency, 93% of the House members voted with Trump 80% or more of the time. This covers the 2016 and 2018 terms.

There were 23 House members that didn't support him at least 80% of the time. I guess those would count as the RINOs, but there aren't many:

Jaime Herrera Beutler, Fred Upton, Elise Stefanik, John Katko, Thomas Massie, Mark Sanford, Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, Burgess Owens, Beth Van Duyne, Cliff Bentz, Chris Smith, Brian Fitzpatrick, Young Kim, Walter B. Jones, Tony Gonzales, Ashley Hinson, Mariannette Miller-Meeks, Randy Feenstra, Blake D. Moore, Nancy Mace, Andrew R. Garbarino, Victoria Spartz, Jeff Van Drew, Peter Meijer.

Some of the rightwings favorite "RINO" targets that voted with Trump 90% or more?

Adam Kinzinger 90%
Liz Cheney 93%

The term RINO has nothing to do with being a Republican and following Republican values. It has everything to do with fealty to Trump. The word is simply a pejorative for the MTGs of the world to use against a candidate not supported by idiots like her. And one of the outcomes of the proliferation of the RINO term, and the GOP pushing some of the MAGA idiots over "RINOs", is that the GOP majority is very tenuous. It's hurting the GOP, not helping.

Try again. With the exception of spending bills, Trump's agenda was mostly WH policy, not Congressional bills.

Most of the bills that Trump signed were ones changing or expanding existing bills, that either the GOP Congress or Trump wanted. and weren't tough partisan battles, just tweaks to previous bills that most of Congress agreed made sense.

Another large chunk was ceremonial bills - designating or changing names of buildings, etc.

And then you had his rollback of Obamacare. The idea was good but the execution was poor from all of the GOP. They ended up making Obamacare stronger and more expensive.

GOPs in Congress haven't been conservative wrt spending for decades. That's not going to change until there is a POTUS elected that pushes spending bills that are conservative. So, at this point, we're pretty much guaranteed that the deficit is going to continue to skyrocket because both candidates are liberal spenders.

Without realizing it……you’ve just contradicted yourself on DrumpF!s agenda.

Don’t need to. Either DrumpF! is not a conservative and all these “not RINO’s” are n fact RINO’s or DrumpF! Actually did some good………. :D

I really don’t know why you want to continue arguing about this since it’s inevitable that he will be the nominee. Anything can happen before November…..but right now it looks like DrumpF! and The Potato.

Yep, Nikki is most likely toast.
All the other stuff is why the GOP and Trump voters are easily manipulated fools who can't think for themselves.

Notice no one could refute what I wrote, or counter with Trump's conservative chops.
Trump doesn't care about the Pub Party, or the Uniparty, or dismantling any of it. Anything he says about them is simply to get votes. It doesn't, and won't ever, result in any changes.
I’ve NEVER said he did or does. You have no idea if it will result in changes. There is a lot of shuffling going on in the Pub party with the establishment RINO types trying to stomp out any grassroots uprisings. It’s happening here in CO.
She has capitulated on a few things because she know if she doesn’t, she won’t get $$$. This was discussed in another thread. She’s said more than just dumb shiRt about war…..speaking of foreign policy…….
What does Trump care about? Himself. He did nothing of consequence on the items I listed above during his time as POTUS.
That is just BS. He had RINOs in Congress against his agenda…….good grief……
There's a reason Trump isn't doing debates (which should be appalling to anyone voting). Because he has nothing to say, no ideas.
He’s not doing debates because he knows he’s going to be the R candidate.
That's what you're supporting. A single idea that has no chance of materializing, and a whole bunch of nonsense otherwise.

He talked about a few of them, but never actually did anything. The closest he got was the 2018 bill that he first said was a no-go, and then supported at the last minute. Wishy washy nonsense. Poor results.
