Yeah……posted this in the Blue City thread and RG started another as well. Why would anyone visit a Blue City today given this insanity. The guy who was stabbed was a SJ advocate. It sux he was murdered, but I’m sure he supported policies that allowed for this.

10 years is adverse possession, where the squatter takes title to the property.
30 days is squatters tenancy. They don't get title to the home but are considered a legal tenant.
I consider that to be a messed up policy, but in the case in this thread, they aren't considered a legal tenant because they haven't been there for 30 days. And if they aren't a legal tenant, the police can evict them. Sending the case through the courts shouldn't happen until after 30 days.
Either way, allowing squatters tenancy is just stupid. Even Cali doesn't allow that.
