I finally watched that movie.
I found myself wondering, "why does the left hate this movie so much?"
The production value wasn't like what one would see w/ 20th Century or similar, but... the movie did not talk about politics AT ALL. There was zero conservative messaging. The main character was openly Christian, but the script had that as an "oh by the way" deal and it wasn't central to the story. One would find as much Christianity in a guy-with-sweater-meets-girl-who-came-home-from-high-$$-law job-to-save-music-store-in-small-town-snowed-in-by-unlikely-storm Hallmark affair.
I found myself wondering, "why does the left hate this movie so much?"
