LOL. The guy who was the source of the Steele Dossier (it wasn't Steele himself), Danchenko, was charged by John Durham for lying to the FBI, and he was acquitted. Maybe Durham could have tried Steele by claiming that Steele exaggerated the level of confidence that should have been given to Danchenko's info, but that's a tough thing to prove, especially when Durham couldn't prove that the actual source was guilty of lying.
And what we already know is that the FBI failed miserably in their use of the Dossier, and that they used it as the basis for surveillance and shouldn't have..

Classic indeed. This has nothing to do with innocence or guilt.

It's simply a stupid tweet to compare the Biden whistleblower to Steele. The person that was the source of most of the information about Trump, was Danchenko. Both Smirnov and Danchenko were charged for lying to the FBI. There's nothing to charge Steele with. He didn't lie about anything. He passed on a bunch of the information from Danchenko, and literally told the FBI that there were issues with the veracity of the info from Danchenko. We know that the FBI chose to ignore Steele's warning about relying on it too heavily.

Good to see your HDS marches steadily on.

Or Steele could have looked at the info and said, 'no f'ing way am I giving that to the FBI.'

But Steele he got his money! What a joke.

There were a lot of things Steele's report that were true, and Steele didn't get paid by the FBI.

Unconfirmed, but we do know this:

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/crime-cour ... le-n897506
The heavily redacted records show FBI payments to Steele as a Confidential Human Source (CHS) over an unknown period. They also show that Steele told the FBI he had informed a third party he was acting as a CHS for the bureau, and that the FBI determined Steele had been a source for an online article.

We do know that Hillary Clinton and the DNC paid for the report in part. Questions remain as to whether Perkins Coie helped pay for it. Marc Elias is a dirty vote thieving scumbag imo, so his firm is definitely suspect.

We know Hillary and the DNC paid Perkins Coie, who then paid Fusion GPS.
The Clinton Campaign was charged by the FEC and paid a $113k fine for obscuring the oppo research by running the payment through Perkins Coie as legal research.

So Hunter Biden actually didn't have a job for a Ukrainian oil company he was unqualified for, but made hundreds of thousands of dollars for doing?

Just because one guy made stuff up doesn't mean that Biden is squeaky clean.

Maybe, just maybe, we should elect someone who isn't a senile, corrupt guy ... like Nikki Haley.

That is true. It's a common theme with people, especially politicians, who have a political axe to grand. Even when there is a good chance they've done something wrong, most politicians are too stupid to find actual evidence.
Imagine being an elected official who is hellbent on finding enough to prosecute Biden, and being outwitted time and time again by a crack addict and this guy......
