When it becomes apparent that Obamacare is failing, which is how it was designed, we will not go back to the private medical system. Instead, the government will step in and rescue us from the chaos they created with a single-payer government controlled system with no avenue of appeal if you don't like it.

My response: "No duh." Tom Harkin said it laid the groundwork for a single payer system. That wasn't long after it passed iirc. The cost of healthcare exploded because of do-gooder policies like Medicare and various other government mandates. It's an assault on common sense to suggest that Obamacare was designed to anything but bring about a single-payer system. It's been the wet dream of regressives for well nigh 100 years.

Well, we HAVE to do SOMETHING..there are lower income families who do not have access to the top surgeons, doctors, etc.- which is so horrible. No everyone in America today can afford well baby visits for all of their kids under 12, which is a tragedy. Did you also know that we let poor babies die on hospital steps all of the time?? Our system needs to be "fundamentally" transformed, since it is so terrible and racist as well.

I believe this. It's a system designed to eventually fail and adopt some form of nationalized healthcare.

JMHO....I think "not working" is part of the plan. You're spot-on though. We'll get in a hole, and the gov't solution will be to dig some more. We'll keep digging until we're in a single-payer system.
