Welpers the BIL is back in the hoosegow for 60 days...
He got caught driving without a license in violation of his parole.
He got 14 days back this summer for the same thing...this time 60 days. He reports to the regional jail tomorrow at 6PM.
The judge told him there better not be a next time or it's a year.
At least he wasn't drinking...at the time. He drove the farm truck to a nearby store for a case of Bud Light before they left for FL...the court case was yesterday. We knew nothing about it until he called at noon saying he had to be at court at 1:30. At least he was sober.
He'll be out Christmas Day.
Well at least it will be quiet for 2 months.

Why am I guessing that won't be a deterrent?Major Kong wrote:The judge told him there better not be a next time or it's a year.

3:30PM
Thomas Bridge, VA
BIL is passed out drunk on his couch...surrounded by 19 empty Bud Light cans and 2 packs of Jack Links Beef Jerky (no sign of Sasquatch).
Right now my wife and MIL are trying to get him cleaned up to report to the Hoosegow in 2¼ hours...good luck.
My son and I have gone back home and are watching Sea Beast on SyFy.
Also to add to the mayhem at 2:00PM my BIL smacked his 5 month pregnant DIL (a super sweet girl) for bothering him at 2:00:20PM his son decked him.
Damn I'm going to enjoy the 2 months of quiet.

Why there oughta be an Amendment to the Constitution or something.Major Kong wrote:3:30PM

I agry!!! There should be an Amendment giving me more peace and quiet!Homebrew wrote:Why there oughta be an Amendment to the Constitution or something.
My wife & MIL got him to the jail just before 6PM...my wife said he was still soused. It takes awhile to process so hopefully he'll sober up before they get to him.
Before he had to pull his 12 month stretch last year he was thrown in the hoosegow for 30 days. He showed up drunk and an extra 30 was tacked on.

Sorry about the BIL Kongster. Sounds like this is a lot of unnecessary drama in your otherwise very nice sounding life. Will he be able to get hooch in jail? Wouldn't he feel a lot better after the 2 months?Major Kong wrote:I agry!!! He didn't get processed in until nearly 5PM Saturday. We finally heard from him today. The medical staff isn't giving him his meds (blood pressure, cholesterol and bi-polar) so my wife called his attorney today to make sure he gets medicated.Bay_area_Hokie wrote:Sorry about the BIL Kongster. No hooch or cigarettes in the jail...he was in for over a year and didn't get out until August 2012. He felt great for about 12 hours until he tied his 1st one on after getting out...he's been on a 14 month bender since he got out.
