A great reason to retire there. Access to all the amenities, although I think I'd get stared at as mid-50s rolling up to Dime Beers.

Tech also has a program I'm interested where you can get on as faculty after an industrial career without the tenure process (I think not the same kind of benefits, although I won't care if I'm retired). I think they call it "Professor of Practice" or something like that, but if I could have an office, sit on some grad student committees, do some research and publish some, I'd think that was a helluva way to retire...
