My new toy

I bought one of these: http://www.woot.com/offers/onkyo-7-2ch- ... luetooth-5

It replaced this:Teac AG-V8520

I always thought that my old one was relatively expensive when it was new (I didn't buy it new - I got it along with a bunch of other entertainment center stuff from the previous owner of my house), but I found out when I googled it, I found that it originally sold for $150 at Costco.

The difference is night and day - the sound quality isn't even close.

How many HDMI ports does it have? Does it support airplay?

Depends on what kinda preamp you pair with it.

I run an old late 80's Adcom, but that doesn't mean you couldn't add something with AV control. If you've got a spare $6500 laying around, it'd be hard to go wrong with a Krell Foundation, but if not, just use the Onkyo AV thing you've got and run RCAs to the Citation.

Plus, you can warm your toes on those KT88s in the Citation on cold winter nights :)

That's a tube power amp. Using it, your onkyo would be essentially be a pre-amp. While the citation II is a classic, for your purposes and setup it wouldn't be appropriate.
